The idea behind Podcorn

Some things
deserve a little
more listening.

The voice that keeps you company. The idea that follows you home. The episode you wish everyone would hear.

A note from us

It starts with
“you have to hear this.”

There’s a particular feeling after a great podcast. You’ve spent time with a voice, followed an idea somewhere unexpected, and come away with something you didn’t have before.

Then you want to tell someone.

That’s the feeling we’re building Podcorn around: the pleasure of listening, and the connection that can come from it.

We care about the quiet part — a player that gets out of your way, a library that feels like yours, radio for the moments when you don’t want to choose. And we care about what happens around it: a review, a conversation, a playlist with a point of view, a moment passed from one person to another.

Our ambition is a community where podcast makers and listeners can feel closer to the work and to each other. We’re early. We’re building carefully. And there’s room for you.

The things we come back to
01

Make listening a pleasure.

The small details matter because the experience happens every day.

02

Give taste somewhere to live.

What you love, what you think and what you recommend all say something about you.

03

Build around real connection.

Shared curiosity is a good place for a conversation to start.

04

Respect the people behind the audio.

Creators deserve credit. Listeners deserve clarity. Both deserve care.
